Corporate Social Responsibility

Based on its overall objective of long-term growth, the Zetterberg & Partners’ Corporate Social Responsibility policy will contribute one percent of its annual turnover in cash to projects in developing countries. The projects that we will sponsor should be aimed at reducing the burdens of local communities and also to provide a proper project management structure to ensure sustainability and to bring about positive long-term results.

For the year 2010 we have chosen to sponsor a project in the remote parts of Nepal. The Asian Heritage Foundation (www.ahfnepal.org), supported by Zetterberg & Partners, will work towards a better, sustainable environment for the people in the south Solukhumbu district, in the centre of Nepal. The heart of this area is the village of Necha. The project involves a hospital, opening in February 2010, accessible to more than 50 000 people. In order to meet the objective of becoming a self-supporting hospital in seven years, the project also includes an educational program in which 3-5 top students from the Necha area will get the opportunity to obtain university degrees to meet the hospital's future human resources needs.
